GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on these modern remasters of game classics.

One of the most intriguing things is how the legendary open world games will be altered to suit modern audiences.

Well, a leak from the GTA remastered: San Andreas showcased the new visuals, as well as a new weapon wheel and minimap.

Gameplay footage of Rockstar’s upcoming remaster of its PS2-era Grand Theft Auto trilogy appeared online, after gameplay footage was apparently loaded from the first copies. Below you will see three YouTube uploads and a post on Reddit, which show over an hour of footage from Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas .

Reddit user Zombathon67890 posted a leaked gameplay video that reveals that the San Andreas remastered will feature an all-new weapons wheel and minimap from when it was released in 2004.

The features will be familiar to players of GTA V, as they appear to have been taken directly from the latest game in the series and transferred to the old faithful.

Just from the screenshots, it’s easy to see that the minimap looks much cleaner and brighter, making the transition from A to B much simpler.

Fans will also be relieved to see that the weapon wheel that has become a staple of recent games has been implemented. Gone are the days of blindly scrolling through weapons just to irritately skip the RPG.

This footage also shows updated graphics. You can also see the improved drawing distances in full force, with the entire center of San Andreas visible on the horizon.
